Easily Migrate Business-Critical SQL Server Workloads to Containers on EKS

Featuring AWS and DH2i

This session includes a demo to show viewers how they can:

  • Use DH2i’s SQL Server Operator for Kubernetes to facilitate deployment in minutes
  • Ensure max uptime for SQL Server containers with automatic failover for AGs in K8s
  • Create cross-platform SQL AGs that unify instances and containers on any platform

Deploying SQL Server to Amazon’s Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) represents a direct path to significant enhancements in scalability, speed to deployment, and the overall management experience of your environment. Containerizing SQL Server allows many internal enterprise workloads to share a common resource pool (memory, CPU, and storage) and unlock maximum infrastructure utilization.

Unfortunately, a couple roadblocks are still preventing thousands of organizations from making the move to containers. These barriers include ensuring high availability for their most critical workloads, and the complexity-riddled learning curve to container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes (K8s).

Join DH2i and AWS for a webinar about deploying SQL Server containers on EKS.
