SQL Server High Availability on Linux on Azure with DH2i
By Joey D’Antoni, Denny Cherry & Associates Consulting
Microsoft introduced SQL Server on Linux with the release of SQL Server 2017, allowing organizations to get the benefits of SQL Server’s powerful database engine. Traditional tools like Pacemaker and Corosync were not built around database workloads, leaving many challenges in the way of SQL Server clustering on Linux and on Microsoft’s Azure platform. In this whitepaper, Joey D’Antoni details the benefits of DxEnterprise software and outlines the steps to deploy DxEnterprise within the same subnet as well as across networks using its SDP tunneling feature.
