DH2i was one of 5 technology leaders selected for bringing innovative solutions to not only servers and virtualization, but also other markets across infrastructure and operations (I&O)
DH2i was included in the list of Cool Vendors in the Cool Vendors in Servers and Virtualization, 20151 report by Gartner, Inc.
According to the report: “With the introduction of containers and “software defined” abstraction from hardware has come renewed interest in server and virtualization technology. The following Cool Vendors illustrate for I&O leaders how to assess and expand server functionality beyond traditional OSs and hypervisors.”
The report also encouraged I&O leaders to “examine these Cool Vendors closely and leverage the opportunities that they provide.”
With the continued robust growth of Windows Server instances on virtualized hosts—and the constantly increasing costs to support them—the Windows datacenter ecosystem is ripe for innovation. We believe being named a Cool Vendor by Gartner reinforces our approach to streamline Windows datacenters with our innovative, enterprise-ready container technology that enables workload portability with near-zero downtime.
